As experienced investors and operators, our team understands the importance of a shared mission and trusted partnership in growing medium-sized businesses. We entrust the daily operations of our affiliate companies to management and instead focus on supporting companies’ strategic direction in collaboration with our operating partners. Our investment strategy empowers management to define realistic and sustainable growth objectives, to pursue new opportunities using CPC’s extensive industry relationships, and ultimately to build market-leading businesses with high potential. In addition, our equity investments typically include commitments from selling shareholders, management, CPC principals, our operating partners, and other institutional capital partners.

Circle Peak focuses on specific industry sectors where our accumulated knowledge, operating partner network, and broader relationships offer a strategic advantage to our management teams and stakeholders. Our principals collectively have decades of experience investing in and operating medium-sized businesses, and our operating partners actively support critical strategic initiatives pursued by our affiliates. Unlike many private equity firms, our focus allows us to enter a partnership with a more complete understanding of the business and prepared to create immediate, sustainable value. Our focus on the lower middle market has also demonstrated attractive long-term rates of return relative to large-cap funds.

Proprietary Relationships
Circle Peak maintains a substantial relationship network through active discussion with various participants in its Targeted Sectors. CPC’s network consists of senior executives and seasoned entrepreneurs, senior and mezzanine lenders, family investment offices, investment and commercial bankers, consultants, hedge funds, analysts, lawyers, accountants, and other investment firms. CPC believes that the relationships of the principals, supplemented by those of the firm’s operating advisors, co-investment partners, and “friends of the firm,” provide Circle Peak with a distinct competitive advantage in sourcing actionable, proprietary investment opportunities and building market-leading businesses.
